State governments have begun to lay out their timeline for Stage-2 of easing COVID-19 restrictions over the next four weeks, which will see more businesses looking to comply with new legislation as they reopen their doors.
As infection numbers continue to decline and the figures point to early signs of recovery as businesses, shops and schools reopen and travel restrictions ease, they also highlight just how far we have to go to return to ‘normal’.
One of the immediate challenges for businesses is the need to comply with new state legislation which sees many businesses required to design and implement a COVIDSafe Plan in addition to their usual WHS standards.
When is Stage-2 being implemented?
State governments will roll out Stage-2 over the next four weeks, in compliance with federal government guidelines.
